BIODYNAMIC ENGINEERS
BE-01 / Manufacturing · Agriculture · Sustainability

Built for industry. Rooted in the land.

Biodynamic Engineers brings industrial engineering and regenerative design under one roof. We help manufacturers, growers and developers build operations that run leaner, waste less and last longer, and we're growing a network of partners to do it at scale.

BE-02 / Our mission

To make industry and agriculture more efficient, together.

Every plant, facility and acre should do more with less: less downtime, less waste, less energy, more yield. We pair the discipline of industrial engineering with how living systems actually work, and we build for the next generation, not the next quarter.

  • Field-provenMethods are tested on real equipment and real ground before we recommend them.
  • One accountable teamEngineering and land under one contract, from the panel room to the property line.
  • Built for the long runDocumented, maintainable work your team can own for decades.
  • Partners, not vendorsWe grow with the companies, researchers and trades we work beside.
BE-03 / What we do

Most firms do one of these. We do both.

Engineering firms run plants. Regenerative firms design land. The projects that stall are the ones that need both and end up with two firms who never meet. We bring one team to the whole job.

BE-03A / Manufacturing

Plants that make things

Controls, reliability and capital work, learned on the plant floor.

  • Industrial controls and electricalTroubleshooting, panel work and upgrades to aging controls.
  • Line automation and equipment movesLine automation, equipment relocation and dust collection.
  • Reliability and maintenance programsPreventive maintenance ranked by what stops production.
  • Capital projects and expansionsOwner-side scope, bids and contractor coordination.
  • 5S and operations programsFloors organized so problems are visible and fixable.
BE-03B / Agriculture

Land that grows things

Designed and tested on our own working farm and tree nursery.

  • Food forest and agroforestry designLayouts that produce, not just screen.
  • Conservation and buffer plantingsNut and conservation trees from our own nursery.
  • Soil biology programsKNF and JADAM fermentation, mycorrhizal inoculation.
  • Protected growingHoop house design and season extension.
  • Grant strategyHelp pursuing conservation and agriculture funding, from a team that has delivered grant-funded work.
BE-04 / Sustainability

Where manufacturing meets the land

Biochar from waste streams

Research and collaboration on turning industrial and agricultural waste into biochar, a soil amendment that holds carbon. It joins the plant side (the waste, the equipment) to the land side (where the char goes to work).

For: manufacturers, processors and research partners

Buffers that produce

Screening and buffer land around facilities planted as productive food forest, with nursery stock sourced locally and a maintenance plan that outlasts the ribbon cutting.

For: developers, including data centers

Controlled-environment facilities

HVAC, chillers, building automation and winterization for growing facilities, from a team with hands-on experience running them.

For: controlled-environment growers

BE-05 / Capabilities

Where we have depth

The technology our team works with hands-on, and the judgment that comes from doing it in the field.

Process and manufacturing systems

Adding capacity and uptime to running plants without stopping production.

Process mills · line automation · dust collection · equipment relocation

Capital project delivery

Owner-side scope, bids and contractor coordination through punch list, with safety as the gate.

Bid management · JHA, LOTO, hot work · SAP and CMMS · AutoCAD as-builts

Controls and automation

Machines that tell you what went wrong, and floors organized so problems are visible.

Allen-Bradley PLCs · packaging lines · robotic cells · fault logic · 5S

Controlled-environment facilities

Systems for buildings where the product is alive and downtime can cost a crop.

HVAC and chillers · building automation · fire and security · maintenance systems

Living systems

Soil biology and plantings proven in the field before they are recommended.

Nut tree propagation · mycorrhizal inoculation · KNF and JADAM · hoop houses

Biochar and waste streams

Research and collaboration on turning industrial and waste feedstocks into biochar.

Feedstock evaluation · process and equipment review · soil application

BE-07 / How we work

Four steps, one point of contact

  1. Site walk-down

Walk the plant, the panel room or the ground in person and see what is actually there.

    Out: notes and photos
  2. Written scope and budget

What will be done, what it costs, and what is not included, in writing before work starts.

    Out: scope and budget
  3. Build or design

One point of contact through the work, coordinating trades and contractors on your side.

    Out: the work, delivered
  4. Handoff

You keep the documentation, so the next person can run and maintain what was built.

    Out: SOPs, as-builts, maintenance plan
